Taichung City Government values the labor recreative activities and would like to achieve the goal of 「value labor recreative activities, facilitate the early operation of『labor service center』」proposed in both of the municipal management plans of many Mayors and municipal administration white paper so the labors may have a good place to study or communicate to achieve the objectives of educational training and recreations. The center designed with the concept of business management will allow the labors to access, use and involve in to enrich their living elements and complete the development physically and psychologically to upgrade the labor culture to be more delicate and warm.

There are 3 labor service (recreation) centers in the city, including Shalu District labor recreation center, East District labor service center and Precise park united labor service center as the following:

1.Shalu District labor service center：

The center was completed by the end of 1995. In order to benefit the huge group of labors living in the coast line area and implement the welfare of the labors, it’s commissioned to and managed by Chaoyang University of Technology on 1^st July, 2013. The center will provide the labors living in the coast line area for meeting, on-job training, academic education, recreation and communication etc. to upgrade the professional skills, cultural characteristics and recreation of the labors. All the business institutes or private organizations are welcome to conduct seminars, training and labor related activities in the center. 2.East District labor service center：

The center was unveiled to operate on 28^th August, 2003. It’s a multifunctional center with the reception, art and cultural exhibition and performance area, computer classroom, legal consultation service, coordination room, different types of classrooms for labor training, employment information service, small meeting room, reference exhibition hall, talent showroom, presentation room and comprehensive activity center etc.. All kinds of institutes or organizations and unions are welcome to conduct different types of labor education, recreative activities, employment market seminar, forum, seeking or providing employment event, video shows etc.. All the business institutes or private organizations are welcome to conduct seminars, training and labor related activities in the center. 3.Precise park united labor service center：

The center was opened to all on 17^th November, 2016. The center has three buildings as Building A, B and C. Foreign labor affairs section of the Bureau, Taichung City Labor Examination Center and Taichung City Employment Service Center have joined in to provide the integrated labor affair services for labor related legal consultation and the labor right protection, occupational safety and health etc.; also, there are activity center, big and middle sized classrooms, middle sized meeting room and presentation room etc. where the business institutes or private organizations are welcome to conduct labor related education, recreative activities, employment market seminar, forum and seeking or providing employment event. The center has some other facilities like gym and nursery room for the business institutes, organizations or unions to rent and use.
