What is the Occupational safety and health education/training?

The Occupational Safety and health education/training are from the Article 32 of Occupational Safety and Health Act. The employees shall take the safety and health education and training provided by their employers, including general and in-service education and trainings.

◎The categories of general education and training are as follows:

Safety and Health Education/Training for the executive in charge of Occupational safety and Health
Safety and Health Education and Training for Occupational safety and Health personnel
Safety and Health Education and Training for on the operation-environment test personnel
Safety and Health Education/Training for the construction and process safety appraised personnel
Safety and Health Education/Training for executives in charge of high pressure, construction operation and hazardous operation
Safety and Health Education/Training for dangerous machine and equipment operators
Safety and Health Education/Training for special operator
Labor Safety and Health Education/ training for Health Service nursery personnel
Safety and Health Education and Training for First Aid Personnel
General Safety and Health Education and Training
Other Safety and Health Education/Training Assigned by Central governing authority

◎The hours of in-service training for the labors are as follows:

Employment Type	The Hours of In-service Training
（1）Executive in charge of Occupational Safety and Health	At least 6 hours for every 2 years
（2）Occupational Safety and Health Personnel	At least 12 hours for every 4 years
（3）Labor Health Service Nursery Personnel	At least 12 hours for every 3 years
（4）On the Operation Environment test Personnel	At least 6 hours for every 3 years
（5）Constructive and process safety appraised personnel
（6）Executives in charges of high pressure, construction operation and hazardous operation
（7）Dangerous machine and equipment operators	At least 3 hours for every 3 years
（8）Special operators
（9）First Aid Personnel
（10）Executives of all levels of management, command and supervision.
（11）The members of Occupational Safety and Health Committee
（12）Operators for the construction, vehicle construction machine, aerial lift vehicle, hypoxia, confined space and manufacture, placement or dangerous and hazardous substances.
（13） The general labors other than the types mentioned above.
