Notice of the incentive initiated by Taichung City Government for the institutes hiring the disabled people
I. Taichung City Government （abbreviated as the City Government）has announced the notices to leverage the employment funds for the disabled people to provide the institutes hiring the disabled people with the excessive quota or hiring incentive,
II. The in-charge institute of the notices is the Labor Bureau, the City Government（abbreviated as the Bureau）.
III. The private institutes hiring the disabled people may apply for the excessive quota of or hiring incentive if they are eligible with one of the following conditions:
(I) The company, with the total employees more than 67 people and hiring no less than one disabled person with the working capability to reach 1% of total employees, has the fact of excessive quota.
(II) The company, with the total employees more than 30 but less than 67 people and hiring more than one disabled person.
The aforementioned hired disabled employees is actually working in the city and still employed, after working in the same institute for more than 6 months, the incentive will be rewarded from the 7th month and the rewarded period is limited to one year.
The total employee numbers should be calculated based on the people with either civil servant and teacher insurance or labor insurance on the first day of the month.
IV. The issued amount of the excessive quota or hiring incentive should be based on the calculation of the actual monthly wage of the excessive quota of or hired disabled people whose wages are more than basic wage level times 50% of their actual monthly basic wage.
V. The applications of the excessive quota or hiring incentive for the incentive between July and December of the prior year should be submitted from 1st to 28th February of the year and the incentive between January and June of the year should be submitted from 1st to 31st August of the year. No application will be accepted if the deadline is missed.
VI. The applications of the excessive quota or hiring incentive should be raised in the application forms with the following documents and sent to the Bureau by the registered post:
(I) Copies of business registration certificate, factory registration certificate or any certificate issued by the in-charged institutes of the indicated business.
(II) The copies of both cover and back pages of the disabled handbook of the disabled employee.
(III) The wage of the disabled employees.
